During yesterday's Nintendo Direct the company announced a new extension to their Nintendo Switch Online service which includes the possibility to play selected N64 and Sega Megadrive games.
As far as we can tell it will not be possible to use this new N64 wireless controller on existing N64 systems.
Furthermore, it will be very interesting to see if the Joy-Stick Mechanics have been improved since the original N64 controller was infamous for being not very durable.
Lastly this release blows wind into the fire of rumors about a speculated release of the N64 Mini. It seems the production line is running for at least one of the two components already.
