This list covers all GameCube variations ever officially released or licensed by Nintendo worldwide. We consider a console variation a unique colored console regardless of its box or packaging, this means we are only looking at the standalone consoles in this list.

2. Nintendo GameCube Jet Black Console

3. Nintendo GameCube Platinum Silver Console

  • Released in Europe, Japan, North America and Australia (Click on regions to see more details)
  • Silver console with silver controller
  • Was used for the most bundled sets
  • This model is a DOL-001 system

4. Nintendo GameCube Spice Orange Console

  • Released in Japan and South Korea (Click on regions to see more details)
  • Orange console with orange controller
  • Launch console in Japan
  • This model is a DOL-001 system

5. Nintendo GameCube Pearl White Console

  • Was only released in Europe (Click on regions to see more details)
  • Glossy White console with matching controller
  • It is actually a different white then the Final Fantasy version
  • This model is a DOL-101 system

6. Nintendo GameCube Metroid Prime Bundle

  • Only released in Europe and USA (Click on regions to see more details) 
  • Black console with Samus Aran Faceplate
  • Bundled with game Metroid Prime
  • USA version was also available but without the faceplate
  • This model is a DOL-001 system

7. Nintendo GameCube Pokemon XD Bundle 

  • Released in NA and Japan (Click on regions to see more details)
  • Silver Console with Pokemon XD faceplate
  • Technically it is a Platinum Silver Console, but it counts as an own variation because the faceplate was officially from Nintendo
  • Bundled with a game Pokemon XD
  • This model is a DOL-101 system

8. Nintendo GameCube Resident Evil 4 Bundle

  • Silver Console with a black bottom and a Resident Evil 4 faceplate
  • Bundled with Resident Evil 4
  • The controller has the Resident Evil 4 logo on it
  • This model is a DOL-001 system

9. Nintendo GameCube Tales of Symphonia Console

  • Was released in Japan with GB Player
  • Also released in France without GB Player
  • This model is a DOL-001 system

10. Nintendo GameCube Donkey Konga Bundle

  • Silver Console with Donkey Kong faceplate
  • Technically it is a Platinum Silver Console, but it counts as a own variation because the faceplate was officially from Nintendo.

  • Controller is black with Hanshin Tigers Cap Insignia

  • Was released to commemorate the 1st place in the Japanese Baseball League Championship in 2003

  • Silver Chrome Console with grey controller and Panasonic logo on it
  • Came with a Grey controller with "Panasonic" on it
  • This is a officially partnered variation
  • It can play DVD's and GameCube games.


14. Nintendo GameCube Starlight Gold Console

  • Gold Console with matching gold controller
  • Only sold in Toys "R" Us Japan
  • Gold color is very subtle, often confused with the Platinum Silver variation in images.
  • This model is a DOL-101 system

15. Nintendo GameCube Customized Gundam Char Bundle

  • Red Console with matching controller with Gundam Logo (Controller actually has light red top and dark red bottom)
  • Came with Gundam Char Figurine and GB Player
  • GB Player is also darker red then console

  • Given away to the employees at ATI who helped during development on the "Dolphin"
  • Dolphin was the prototype name of the GameCube

  • Inspired by Tom Ford's brand, Gucci
