Some prototype designs were developed to see which one worked best for PlayStation users with disabilities.
The fourth design now has the pinhole inserts that are featured in the final product, but in return, the P that was used to represent PlayStation on the power button was removed.
Even though there are six different ones, it's likely that there are more that were produced.
