What do you collect and what is your goal?

I collect Gameboy consoles. My focus is on Gameboy Pocket and promotional consoles.

When did you start collecting?

Around 2015-2016, and became dedicated to collecting high-end Gameboy around 2017

How did you get the idea to collect video games/consoles?

I wanted a SNES to remind me of my childhood, and began buying vintage games at a flea market. After purchasing a Clear Gameboy Pocket (No-LED Version), I decided I wanted all the USA colors... Then I got one boxed one... Then I got one imported one.... Now I have one of the largest GBP collections in the world, lol!

What is your most memorable collecting story/experience?

Buying a V Energy promo Gameboy Color on eBay, and sending it to my friend as a gift. Even though I don't have one, he is a close friend who loves Aussie GB promos.
Because what promo collector does that!?

Another great memory is getting my EB Games promo DMG from a close friend who lives in the UK - he didn't even want to let it go, but he knew how much it meant to me.

It's the people and the relationships you form through collecting that really mean something at the end of the day. I can have all the promos in the world, and it wouldn't mean anything if I didn't have friends to share them with.
