This was an accessory for cars, in which you can play Game Boy Advance Games and DVDs.
This accessory was not sold in stores where you could find video games, you could only find it in car dealerships where it would either be sold separately, or it would be bundled with certain vehicles. It could only be distributed by two car companies, Nissan and BMW.
It also has a unique wireless controller. It could play the games of the Game Boy Advance remotely, however, not being a control officially launched by Nintendo its D-Pad quality was not very good. The only defect it had is that we had to play in a straight line pointing to the system, otherwise it lost its signal.
The Visteon Dockable Entertainment Featuring Game Boy Advance sadly isn't backwards compatible with previous Game Boy games, though is touted by some as the ultimate Game Boy Advance.
The dockable version retailed for $1299,out on July 2006 after its reveal at Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2006 and the mounted headrest model retailed for $1699 and released on April 1, 2008.
