Can we get the two Commodore Amiga CD32 variants added to the database?
Just picked up a PAL CD32 and was surprised to see it wasn't listed on the site. No way for me to add it since Commodore/Amiga aren't among the listed brands.
There are two main versions of the CD32 to my knowledge, the European PAL unit and NTSC unit (released in Canada). Very difficult to tell the two apart save for the power supply notice on the bottom of the console.
What's different between the bottom of the consoles? i have a CD32 in the mail currently and im curious if its NTSC or PAL. has no included cord
I dont want to mislead you because Im not 100% sure as well. I purchased a PAL unit but have a plug like this one that accepts both PAL and NTSC voltages (https://www.ebay.com/itm/393367862773). I've tried looking for more specific variation details of both cd32s but there is so little documentation on the NTSC unit. I read in one Amiga forum that if you obtained it in Canada your console is probably NTSC but if you obtained it in the U.S. it's at best a toss up or even a bit more likely to be PAL.
