What do you collect and what is your goal?

Welcome to my page! I mainly collect Nintendo consoles from Nintendo 64 to WiiU, although it's not totally unrealistic to see the occasional Sony or Microsoft Console. Although I have some rarer stuff, I also enjoy "common" stuff. Everything I own is CIB, open box with very little wear, and yes, I take tons of photos!

When did you start collecting?

I started collecting in 2007, as a very young child. in 2016, I opened East Coast Collectables on eBay to buy and sell gaming systems and collectables. I was THE primary luxury dealer of high-end holy grails for the southeast region for over 5 years. Some of my sold grails includes a CIB copy of earthbound ($5600 final sale price), a Pikachu N64 ($2200 final sale price), and a new unused strawberry N64 ($1400) final sale price).

I started building my personal collection in 2023, the first time I really began collecting for myself, and not to sell.

How did you get the idea to collect video games/consoles?

I got into the idea of collecting games and systems when I first learned about Nintendo, and started making some great memories with Gameboy and DS early on in life. I think what I love most about collecting is not the games or systems, but rather, the conversations and social scene you can develop with other collectors and game store employees.

What's your favorite item in your collection and why?

My favorite item so far is my open box GBA SP target bundle. This bundle comes with a car adapter and carrying bag. The GBA SP works so well for road trips, and the Target affiliation, plus those perfect little accessories included, takes me back to when the SP was popular and when gaming in the car was really cool.
