- This TDEV boots a custom IPL referred to in the Gigaleak as "boot-e3". This IPL is also named "backup plan" in the source code and is compiled against the Revolution SDK.
- Some visitors of E3 2006 noted that (some of?) the Wii demos were being played off black GameCubes.
- Forrest of Illusions say this Gamecube was used for E3 or another conference.
- It displays an image of a (prototype) Wii upon boot and starts the "Nintendo Revolution System Menu V.0.1" if no disc is inserted.
- As this otherwise functions as a regular TDEV it runs NR discs. The IPL does not contain a region check.
- Switching the region toggle on the side of the Gamecube changes the menu language.
