- Bundled with some copies of Ohenro-san: Hosshin no Dojo, a game simulating a Shikoku Pilgrimage, a pilgrimage of 88 temples associated with the Buddhist monk Kūkai on the island of Shikoku, Japan (although only 23 are represented in-game).
- Allowed for users to progress outside the game by physically walking around. Steps would be sent to the game through the GameCube’s controller port, which would move the player forward along the route in-game.
