About Me

What do you collect and what is your goal?

Everything I can find and afford.
I don't really have a goal, but I'd like to have all the same variations of consoles I had when I was younger.

When did you start collecting?

For me, it's more like when did I start not reselling my things.
Regretfully, I gave up on nearly all my consoles and games when I was younger just to afford the new shiny thing. I stopped doing that around 2012 I think, with the 3DS and the Vita.

How did you get the idea to collect video games/consoles?

I don't know if I'm really collecting them, but I like to have all of the consoles with games I like, just to be able to enjoy them as they should be played.
And as for my test kits, I just happened to run into them online, I didn't really searched for them at first.

What's your favorite item in your collection and why?

I'd say my PSP Testing tool because it's from Namco and there's still their stickers on it. It just looks so cool with that 90s PC-like tower design, it reminds me of a FM Town lol.
Also my DS Lite from the launching conference in Korea. I never thought I could be the owner of something this rare. It's not special construction wise, it's just a DS lite with something written on it. But thinking Nintendo made like 50 of them only for journalists... Wow

What is your most memorable collecting story/experience?

I don't have it anymore, but that's my childhood N64.
I when to the flea market with my father when I was like 5, and someone was selling a mint one (it just came out at that time) and he bought it for me and my brother.
I was so excited to see my brother reaction !
Then everyweek my mother brought us new games to enjoy, and at Christmas I remember getting my favorite game, Majora's Mask.
