- The MVS (Multi Video System) coin-operated arcade machine offers arcade owners the ability to put up to six different cartridges into a single cabinet to save money and valuable floor space in arcades.
- With its games stored on self-contained cartridges, a cabinet's game can be exchanged for a different game by swapping the game's ROM cartridge and cabinet artwork.
- The cabinets were available in 1-slot, 2-slot, 4-slot, and 6-slot variations, the difference was the amount of game cartridges that could be loaded into the machine at one time.
- The home console version, the AES uses different cartridges but has the same games.
