- The Sharp X1 twin is the last home-computer model of the X1 model range.
- The X1 was a series of computers using the Zilog Z80 processor, sold only in the Japanese market from 1982 and 1988.
- Although it had compatible performance, more especially with their "Turbo" models, they could never sell as well as their biggest competitor NEC with their PC8801 computers.
- The specialty of this X1 twin was its dual mode, so you could normally boot it in the X1 mode to use it as a full-featured computer, but there was also the PC-Engine mode.
