What do you collect and what is your goal?

I enjoy building a collection of cartridge-based consoles and games, although I'm not certain about my end goal yet.

When did you start collecting?

Delving into the captivating world of video games since the late 70s, I've held onto every console and game I acquired. Though I never saw myself as a collector, reflecting now, I realize I've unknowingly amassed a remarkable collection showcasing my enduring passion for gaming.

How did you get the idea to collect video games/consoles?

I inadvertently fell upon it.

What's your favorite item in your collection and why?

My Sega Genesis speakers, no one has them!

What is your most memorable collecting story/experience?

When the Sega CD came out, I went to Toys "R" Us and bought the last one available. You'd grab an item ticket, take it to the register, pay for it, and then proceed to the pick-up booth with your item ticket and receipt. The clerk handed me the box, and I noted it felt light. The clerk mentioned that's how new technology is these days. Later, I found out it was an empty box, as they had sold me their display unit box. Toys “R” Us fixed the problem and I have it to this day.
