What do you collect and what is your goal?

I collect game consoles and games I am interested in for each platform. I collect for Nintendo, Sega, PlayStation, Xbox, Atari, Neo Geo, and TurboGrafx-16 consoles.

When did you start collecting?

I started collecting November of 2020.

How did you get the idea to collect video games/consoles?

I was finicking with some old consoles of mine when I got the idea to look into older games from my childhood systems that I may have missed. I was introduced to retro games by relatives with the NES. From there on, I collected for retro and modern consoles.

What's your favorite item in your collection and why?

Cross between the Sega Dreamcast and the Neo Geo Pocket Color. I love obscure consoles, and I also love handheld systems. While the Neo Geo Pocket Color fills both criteria, the Dreamcast's library is really unmatched.

What is your most memorable collecting story/experience?

In 2023, I got a sweet deal on a bundle that included a Dreamcast keyboard and mouse CIB, a Dreamcast jump pack, and two Dreamcast VMUs with both of their caps, one of them being the Dream Points exclusive Aqua Blue VMU, for about $60. I was very happy when it all arrived, and surprised since it got here quick all the way from Japan.
