- An early version of the Wii remote. The coaxial looking plug connected to the side of an NDEV unit.
- These were given out to developers and used for prototypes before actualwirelessly connected Wii remotes were in working stages.
- Some earlier variants use an arrow and pause button, rather than the newer minus and plus sign.
- Only NDEV units supported this remote, as no other Wii developer consoles had a coaxial port due to them being later in production, in which there already were wireless remotes produced.
