  • Won through a lottery in association with Lawson
  • The console has the J league logo on console and controller
  • The labels on the console and the controller are stickers - there is a debate if this one was officially licensed

Yes they are. They were presumably put on by Lawson before they were given away. The box the system comes in is also a normal box, with no indication of it being limited edition.
Correct. In our blog post about all N64 console variations we gave it an honorable mention rather than a fixed spot as a unique variation since there is still a lot of debate if this contest was actually licensed & if it counts as a individual variation with just stickers on.
I believe it should, because the ANA system is pretty much the same; just their logo put on the original charcoal system.
But the ANA Logo is printed on and it is confirmed that the lottery was licensed by Nintendo. Tricky one...
That is true. Wouldn't it be illegal to do a giveaway if Nintendo had not signed off on giving them the rights to distribute their product? We both know how protective Nintendo is with their IP's and Technology.
I keep trying to change the release type to unknown but it just gets set back to unlicensed.
I want to buy this so bad. Amy leads ?

The controller looks awesome with that sticker.
