  • This was a warranty replacement controller Nintendo would send out to customers that sent in their controller for repair or servicing. 
  • The only noticeable difference/change from a retail release is the Warranty sticker that was added to the back of the controller. 
  • The earliest release SNES controllers had a screen printed "Super Nintendo Entertainment System" on the front and screen printed L/R buttons on top as you see here.
