  • Nintendo Power was a service Lawson, and Nintendo made together starting on September 30th, 1997.
  • Lawson continued to rewrite cartridges until August 31st, 2002. The Nintendo Power rewriting service lasted at Nintendo until February 25th, 2007
  • SF/GB games were able to be rewritten, and downloaded through these units onto special cartridges
  • Cheaper alternative to buying a complete copy which was the appeal
