What do you collect and what is your goal?
I just collect retro game systems because I think they’re super interesting. I don’t have a set goal.
What is your most memorable collecting story/experience?
I was on a video chat with my friend and we were just talking as I looked at eBay and Mercari, catching up about life and talking about cool video game things and I saw someone in Japan selling a (broken) yellow GameBoy pocket with instruction manual and box for only $17 (USD). I knew I couldn't pass up on that deal, so I grabbed the phone, ran down two flights of stairs to grab my wallet, ran up the two flights of stairs again, and frantically tried to enter in my payment info and set up international shipping before someone else could grab it. I was out of breath and she was laughing, and it was a really fun and chaotic fifteen minutes.
