- This development kit seems to have been used for developing Famicom and NES games even if they ended up on cartridges for western audiences.
- It was made by a company called Intelligent Systems, possibly only even used within Intelligent Systems themselves, although they did mass produce a similar product for the SNES so it is possible that this was the official development kit for the NES.
