I have one of these Midnight Purple 3DS available. Used Like New condition with a brand new Nintendo sourced battery that I installed myself.
I can either wipe it, limiting access to discontinued Nintendo software and resources, or I can leave it with the homebrew software installed so that you can utilize digital copies of YOUR favorite games via SD card.
I do wish to reiterate (mostly for the Nintendo Legal Team), that I will not provide any protected copyrighted content such as ROM's with said sale.
I had a chip ripper and put all my games in an SD card. Utilizing homebrew software was the only way to make that SD card usable for my vast library (now my archive).
