- The Xbox Video Chat Kit allowed up to four people to chat via web cam over Xbox Live. The package includes a camera, a 12 month Xbox Live subscription, and a Xbox Live Voice Communicator, It needed Video Chat Disk with software to make it all work, and a Xbox Live Starter Kit Disk. As guessed a Xbox Live subscription ws required to enjoy Video Chat.
- Came in two variants. One in the full colour retail packaging and the other just plan brown cardboard box. Also unlike the retail packaging, the brown cardboard set was limited to 3000 units.
