While the accompanying Steel Battalion game is region-locked, the controllers are not.

• The green LED lights on the controller often outlast the blue counterparts; meanwhile, the pedals for the blue button-variant often outlast their older counterparts.  
  • To maximize life-span of the pedals, it is often recommended that you remove one of the two springs in each pedal.
• Aside from the green LED lights, this controller can be identified by the silk-screened "PRF Army" logo on the center block. 
• Includes a NTSC copy of the Steel Battalion Game.
